Abstract
The aim of the thesis is to show the educational and training value of the fable, its accordance with the childish psychology and its attitude to make easier the overcoming of the fears and the inner conflicts of the children of preschool age.
After having analyzed the traditional fable in social-anthropological, historical and stylistic key (Propp, Meletinskij, Luthi), the interpretations given from the psychoanalytic school (Freud, Bettelheim) and from the analytical psychology (Jung, von Franz, Kasts, Launch, Marcoli) are pointed out.
Then the developments of the fairy like literary kind and the characteristics of the modern fables are introduced, underlining their importance in the development of the creativity of the children of school age (references to Rodari, Dallari, Munari).
Subsequently an experience of connection for a project of educational continuity between a childcare facility and an infant school, based on the fable, is detailled presented. Also the children speeches, the interviews to teachers and parents and the reports of the observations performed in itinere are presented.
