Starting to the major topics about social crisis, since 1960's, this Study gives an overview of the changing due to these topics in European and North American societies. One of the most important answer on those facts are the different types of religion, cult and sects born during these years. In the second part there is an overview of the main characteristics of cult and sects. Then the focus is on the leadership of this cult and on the main techniques to find new adepts. Then the focus is on 5 cult cases related to WACO, the branch davidians, Charles Manson, Mamma Ebe, Bestie di Satana and Odine del tempio solare. in the last part there is an analisys on how to get off from a cult.
