The topic of this thesis is about some clinical treatments of the shell lesions in tortoises found by veterinarians at the Veterinary Hospital at the Bari University.
Basically is descripted an innovative method using a plastic polymer (Utile plast) to close in a waterproof way also very serious exposed shell lesions. It is demonstrated using RX, TC that after a different time, according to the lesion, the shell bone is perfectly growth underneath the external fixing method.
