This work, which reported the results of a ethnobotanic search , it is aimed at providing a contribution to the recovery informations on popular uses of plants and the traditions and customs related to them. The survey was carried out in some municipalities in the province of Caserta: Calvi Risorta, Camigliano, including Capua fraction of Sant'Angelo in Formis, Bellona, Pignataro Maggiore, Pontelatone, Santa Maria la Fossa, Santa Maria Capua Vetere with the fraction Lagni of Sant'Andrea, San Tammaro, Teano, Vitulazio. Among the surveyed species in the area was highlighted a very high use of plants, particularly for craft uses. Castanea sativa, Cannabis sativa, Ampelodesmos mauritanicus, Salix viminalis and Phragmites australis are the most used. Also arer reported tobacco and Vitis vinifera, and leaves Juglans regia, Salvia officinalis, Datura stramonium and various Solanaceae Cultivated. There are many wild plants that can be eat and which are currently considered the most troublesome weeds alone, including Parietara officinalis, Portulaca oleracea, Urtica dioica, the various Plantago spp. Many plants that could be used as medicines are also cultivated : Allium cepa, Laurus nobilis, Eruca sativa, Ficus carica and various Lamiaceae. Interesting are also the trees that can be used for household cleaning, like Ficus carica, Eucalyptus globulus, Solanum tuberosum, and Cytrus Limon. It would be desirable even greater deepening of the abrasive properties of the leaves of Parietara officinalis, which could be used successfully in cleaning animal feathers and hair of animals stained by tar in the sea. Finally the varieties that were grown, and today are present in a few orchards and gardens as the "Capuanella", "Sammarzana", the "mela Annurca" and "sergeant" figs "Nataline" or plums " Fige "Nataline" or plums " 'A cerase". Many are also interesting uses of certain entities for biological control and how to cultivate the insect repellent, Juglans regia, Thymus vulgaris Stinging nettle , Allium sativum, Petroselinum sativum, Lycopersicum esculentum. In the research have been highlighted all those practices that, with rare exceptions, were guaranteed sustainability, starting with the cultivation and processing of Cannabis sativa. It is important to rediscover hemp, its processing and its applications for a future ecological, it is one of the best candidates to replace petroleum products. Hemp is actually cultivated for centuries to produce textiles, medicines, paper, plant fuel, food, building materials, plastic ecological, cosmetics and more.
